TVR
Only ever producing a small model range, TVR are going through some tough times
regarding their ownership. Owned by Russian millionaire Nikolay Smolensky, an associate
of Roman Abramovich, owner of Chelsea football club. Typically TVR's have sleek
curved bodywork and produce up to 400BHP with straight-six engine. The TVR Tuscan pictured below does
0-60 in 3.68 seconds.

The future of TVR was uncertain util recently, when in October 2007, it became clear
that the owner Nikolay Smolensky intends to restart production in 2008 - with design
of the cars continuing to be carried out in Lancashire, but with manufacturing to
be moved to Italy.
